Creating Coupon Codes

1. Log in to your iMenu360 admin account.

2. Navigate to the "Marketing" tab on the left-hand sidebar.

3. Click "Coupon Codes"

4. Click the blue "Create Coupon" button in the top right

Fill in the following details to set up your coupon:

• Coupon Name: An internal name for your reference (e.g., "Spring Sale 2025").

• Coupon Code: The code customers will enter at checkout (e.g., "SAVE15").

• Discount Type & Value: Enter the discount figure and select % (percent off) or $ (dollars off) from the dropdown.

• Minimum Order Amount (Optional): Set a minimum subtotal required to use the coupon.

• Pre-Tax Discount: Check this box to apply the discount to the Sub-Total (before tax), which is generally recommended.

• Start & End Date: Define the active period for the coupon.

• Usage Limits: Specify how many times a single customer can use the coupon.

• Platform Availability: Select where the coupon can be redeemed:

• All Platforms: Website, app, and third-party platforms.

• App Only: For app-exclusive promotions.

Finalize: Click "Save" and then "Update Website" to make the coupon live.

• Percentage Off (%): Discounts a set percentage of the order total.

  • Example: A 10% off coupon on a $50 order saves the customer $5.

• Dollars Off ($): Deducts a fixed amount from the order total.

  • Example: A $10 off coupon on a $50 order makes the new total $40.

• Generic Coupon: A public code any customer can use by entering it at checkout. Ideal for broad marketing (e.g., emailing "THANKYOU" for $3 off $15 to your entire list).

• Specific Coupon: A unique, one-time-use code sent to an individual customer, typically for service recovery or targeted offers. It is sent via the "Send Coupon" option in the Orders panel and is only available to that specific recipient.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Access the Orders Page:

• Log in to your iMenu360 admin portal.

• Navigate to the "Orders" page from the main menu.

2. Locate the Order

   • Find the specific customer order for which you want to issue a coupon.

   • Click the Order Number

Select the "Send Coupon" button in the top right.

Configure the Coupon:

• A window will open where you can enter the details:

  • Select Coupon: Choose which pre-made coupon template to send from the dropdown list.

  • Reason: Enter the reason for sending this coupon (e.g., "Apology for missing item," "Thank you for your loyalty").

  • Send Coupon: Enter the customer's email address if prompted.

Create coupon codes to:

• Run sales promotions to boost revenue during slow periods.

• Compensate a customer for a missing item or a negative experience.

• Encourage first-time orders or reward loyal customers.

• Promote new menu items or specials.
