Bulk Update Prices for Your Entire Menu at Once

This guide explains how to use the Bulk Price Adjustment tool to change prices across your entire menu, including all categories and items, in just a few steps.

1. Log in to your Restaurant Manager Portal.

2. From the main navigation, click on the "Restaurant" dropdown menu.

3. Select "Menu Manager".

4. Find the menu you want to adjust (e.g., "Brick Oven Pizza") and look at the Actions column.

5. Click on the three dots (...) and select "Adjust Price" from the dropdown menu.

You will now see the "Price Adjustment" screen. Here is a breakdown of each setting:

1. Apply
This determines the scope of your price change.

• Apply to only items: The price change affects only the base price of menu items.

• Apply to items and add-ons: The price change applies to both main menu items and all add-ons/modifiers. This is the most comprehensive option for a full update.

2. Adjustment Amount
This controls how the new price is calculated.

• %: This should be selected to adjust prices by a percentage.

• Adjustment Value: Enter the numerical percentage value.

  • For a price increase, use a positive number (e.g., 10 for a 10% increase).

  • For a price decrease, use a negative number (e.g., -5 for a 5% decrease).

3. Rounding
This feature automatically rounds the final price for a cleaner menu.

• ✔ No Rounding: The final price is the exact result of the calculation (e.g., $12.48 remains $12.48).

• ✔ Rounding: When enabled, it rounds the final price to the nearest whole dollar. (e.g., $12.22 → $12.00 and 12.52 → $13.00)

• ✔ "Nickel Rounding" means rounding the final price up to the nearest $0.05 (five cents), which creates clean, standardized price endings.

1. After configuring your settings, click the "Save" button.

2. This is a critical final step: Return to the main dashboard and click the "Update Website" button. This publishes the new prices, making them live for your customers on your website and app.

Example Scenario:
To increase all menu items and add-ons by 8% and round to the nearest $0.05 (five cents), which creates clean, standardized price endings.

• Check "Apply to items and add-ons".

• Enter 8 as the Adjustment Value and choose %.

• Enable Nickel Rounding.

• Click Save, then Update Website.
