The POS Reports section provides specialized data and tools related to your Point of Sale system and menu management. It is essential for administrative tasks like menu synchronization and configuration.
How to Access:
Log in to your Restaurant Manager Portal.
Navigate to Reports from the main menu.
Click on the POS tab.
Before generating a report or taking action, you must first select your criteria:
Select Date Range: Use the "From" and "To" fields to define the period for your data.
Select Restaurant Location: Choose the specific location you want to manage.

Here is a detailed breakdown of each report tab and its primary business use:
What it is: A detailed breakdown of all discounts applied and any additional charges processed through your POS.
What it shows: A line-item list of each discount (like coupons) and charge (like delivery fees), showing the amount and the order it was applied to.
Best for: Financial reconciliation and understanding the true impact of promotions and fees on your net revenue.
What it is: An analysis of sales data broken down by hour, as recorded by your POS system.
What it shows: Sales volume, transaction count, and other key metrics for each hour of operation.
Best for: Identifying your busiest sales periods to optimize staff scheduling and kitchen production throughout the day.
What it is: A consolidated report of all orders that originated from third-party delivery platforms (e.g., Uber Eats, DoorDash).
What it shows: A summary of orders, sales totals, and potentially commissions from these external services.
Best for: Tracking the performance and volume of your delivery partners and reconciling their payouts.
What it is: A report tracking menu items whose availability was turned off (marked as "sold out") during your selected period.
What it shows: Which items were out of stock and for how long.
Best for: Identifying inventory issues, popular items that frequently run out, and assessing the potential lost sales from stockouts.
What it is: A general or detailed transaction report directly from your Point of Sale system.
What it shows: Often a raw feed or summary of all transactions processed through the POS, useful for high-level data comparison.
Best for: Getting a broad overview of POS activity and ensuring the iMenu360 system data aligns with your primary sales records.
What it is: A daily summary report of key performance indicators (KPIs) for a specific restaurant location.
What it shows: Totals for sales, orders, taxes, and other vital metrics for each day.
Best for: Daily performance tracking, end-of-day cashier reconciliation, and comparing day-over-day business trends.
By leveraging these six POS reports, you can gain a comprehensive, data-driven view of your sales transactions, partner performance, and inventory management directly from your point of sale.
